Mt. Evans Hill Climb, July 26, 2003 – Allison Lusby‘s winning margin at the 14,264 ft. summit was an astonishing 12 minutes, 54 seconds. This was Allison’s first race aboard her Paketa, and so far, so good! Continued best of luck to Allison as she travels to race in New Hampshire’s Mt. Washington Hill Climb on August 16, and the T-Mobile San Francisco Grand Prix on September 14. Good luck Allison!

On the Men’s side, Ian MacGregor‘s Paketa saw him safely to the summit of North America’s highest paved road on Mt. Evans. Ian finished a very respectable 13th in the Pro/1/2 category!

All of us here at Paketa Cycles are extremely proud of our involvement with these fine young athletes. Stay tuned for the latest breaking news as it becomes available!

National Championships Time Trial, July 4, 2003 – Today Tim Duggan of the Paketa Cycles / Duane Duggan Remax Cycling Team beat the heat, and all challengers save one, to capture the Silver Medal in the US Under 23 National Championships Time Trial!

According to Tim, he owes all his success to the incredible performance and ride comfort of his Paketa Magnesium frame. We here at Paketa Cycles think the rider may have also had something to do with the result, but hey, who are we to argue?

Congratulations Tim! Ian MacGregor also had a fine ride to finish in the top 25.

Best of luck to these fine young athletes as their next test will be the steep mountain terrain of Bend, Oregon where they line up at the prestigious Cascade Classic.
